If modern scholars can use the philosophies of Kant and Marx and Derrida in an academic setting to analyze literature, politics, and culture, why can't I use Christ?
This blog experiments in a Christ-centered critical theory using the philosophy of Jesus Christ as a "critical lens." First, I attempt developing a theoretical framework and methodology; then, I will try applying that methodology in analyses of literature, culture, politics, or anything else that strikes my fancy.

I just found this today as I was researching something else. I think it's an excellent discussion of the purposes of criticism, as well as an interesting argument for criticism itself as an art form.
